The Charlton women’s team would like to wish defender Sam Pittuck, midfielder Daisy Monaghan and development team manager Luke Brown the best in their future ventures, after the trio left the club recently.
Pittuck, who has played both up front and in central midfield as well as at centre half during her second and third spells with the club, was a key figure in the club’s FA Women’s Premier League Championship Play Off-winning season last term.

The former West Ham and Tottenham player began her career with Charlton, before returning ahead of the 2013/14 season.
Pittuck was named FA Women’s Premier League Player of the Year during the 2013/14 season and became the first women’s team player to scoop the Charlton Athletic Goal of the Month award for a stunning volley against Lewes in February 2014.
After taking time out to have a child, she then came back again late last season and has amassed 112 appearances, scoring 31 goals.

Monaghan, who came through the club’s youth system, has joined Gillingham Ladies ahead of their FA Women’s National League South campaign as she seeks to play regular 1st team football. The central midfielder made her debut in 2014 during a 3-0 victory over the club she has just signed for, making 31 appearances and netting once in all competitions.

Brown joined the club initially in a sports science role before working under Riteesh Mishra with the reserve team. He succeeded Mishra as Development (reserve) team manager in 2016, leading them to challenge for the league title in his two years in charge.
The club would also like to Congratulate Luke who recently graduated with a Masters in Sports Science.
