Congratulations to our Under 12's who won the ESF Tournament in style at the weekend .
It was the first time the club have entered the ESF Tournament and it was also a new experience for the team who had never been on tour.

The girls, their parents and families stayed at Butlins Skegness with the matches being played nearby on the very good pitches at Swifts JFC in Ingoldmells.

The team won 4 of their matches & drew the other. In the process they scored 16 goals and keeper Daisy only conceded 1.

We clinched the title on a far superior goal difference from Hassle Sporting Club

Calverley United 0 Charlton 5 - Goals from Tayla 3 & Grace L 2
Charlton 5 Hungate Rovers 0 - Goals from Tayla 2, Rachel, Grace L & Tegan
Charlton 1 Hessle Sporting Club 1 - Goal from Tayla
Charlton 4 Lincoln Griffins 0 - Goals from Grace L 2, Tayla & Zoe
George Spencer School 0 Charlton 1 - Goal from Grace L

The girls were presented with their winners trophy and individuial trophies by former England Captain Stuart Pearce and England Women's International Jordan Nobbs of Arsenal.

Squad - Daisy, Grace F, Elizabeth, Rachel, Grace L, Tegan, Tayla, Zoe

A big Thank You to U10 coach Clare Rogers who stepped in at the last moment to manage the team when Megen Lynch became unavailable.

Thanks also to ESF for a superbly run tournament from start to finish

The team now go forward to the ESF Festival Finals on Sunday 6th July at University of Warwick Football Centre, Coventry, CV4 7AL.
We are currently awaiting more details which are expected in early June re times of matches before we make any further arrangements.
