Storm damage postpones Swedish match

Last Mondays U16 match v Swedish Team Boo FC was called off due to storm damage at the training ground. We tried our hardest to re-arrange the game but it was not to be.
Mondays storm took it's toll on our match as several trees were blown down hitting the roof of the Community Trust Offices and surrounding area.

All soccer schools and training were cancelled at the ground Monday until the insurance assessors have been in.

We did try to switch the match to the Dome but unfortunately that was also taken down to prevent any damage.

We also had to take into consideration the fact that the Swedish team and some of you would be travelling by public transport.

So reluctantly we had to make the decision to call the game off.

The Swedish team requested to play the match on Wednesday morning. After a lot of hard work from Kim & Sue contacting players, grounds and referees everything was set up to play and then Boo FC pulled out saying they couldn't get there.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused parents.
