Seven of this seasons U16 Capital Girls League Cup winning squad have been offered senior forms for next season
Charlton Athletic Women continue to show their commitment to developing their 'home grown' footballing talent by offering seven of last seasons successful Under 16 team senior forms for the forthcoming 2014/15 season.
The Under 16's have just completed an outstanding season winning the Capital Girls U16 League Cup and finishing as runners-up in the league to the juniors of Women's Super League Club Reading.
Coached by Womens 1st team midfielder Kim Dixson & goalkeeper coach Jeremy Parsons some of the team who are now 16 move into senior football with the aspirations of following in the footsteps of previous junior players like Dixson herself, Kit Graham, Rosie Paye, Megen Lynch & Gemma Hyland to name a few.
Make the move into senior football are:-
Under 16 Player of the Season and skipper Daisy Monaghan who made her senior debut for the Development Team on her 16th birthday at the end of the season.
Players Player of the Season Saliha Topcu who showed her versatility last season by playing almost every outfield position.
Striker Charlie Spice who scored a memorable 5 goals in the cup final and also the winner to clinch the League runners-up spot.
Kiera Jenkings who can play anywhere down the left flank and has been with the Addicks for a number of years.
Skilful winger Leisha Wyatt-Smith who has also been with the Addicks for a few seasons.
Ellie-Mae Brown-Araque and Ti-Ya Gilham-Law who joined Charlton last season from Folkestone with both having an impressive first season in Addicks colours
