Congratulations to 1st team striker Sam Pittuck who is the first female to win the Charlton Athletic Goal of the Month
Sam’s superb half-volley against Lewes Ladies was comprehensively voted Charlton’s goal of the month for February. 

The strike won 51% of the vote across the club’s social media channels with Men's skipper Johnnie Jackson’s winner against QPR closest to catching her with 21%.

Sam ran on to centre=back Rosie Paye’s through ball before superbly smashing home to help the 1st team to a 3-2 victory over Lewes Ladies in the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division.

It was the first time one of the Charlton Athletic Women's Team goals has been included in the competition and the Addicks fans certainly recognise a good goal when they see one!

To the best of our knowledge this is the first time a woman has won a goal of the month competition open to men also, at a professional club.
