Katie was a talented midfielder who progressed through our Centre of Excellence growing up alongside many of the girls now playing in our 1st and Reserve teams.
She was a regular member of our Reserve team from 2010-2012 and won the Kent Women's Cup with them in 2011.
Katie was an avid West Ham fan and in 2012 left us to play for West Ham Ladies.
First Team team manager Stuart Weston, who managed Katie while she played for the reserve side, said:
“Katie was a lovely person and a very talented footballer.
“She was popular with her teammates and she will be missed hugely by everyone who got to know her during her time at Charlton.”
The thoughts of everyone at Charlton Athletic are with Katie’s family at this difficult time.
