Are you a talented girl footballer with ambitions to play top level girls football . . . . . then read on and apply for a trial !
Our Regional Talent Club
Charlton Athletic were awarded a 3 year FA Girls Regional Talent Club licence in April 2016 and we have thoroughly enjoyed and learnt a lot in our first season.
Currently a Tier 3 club and our aim is to become a Tier 2 club at the earliest opportunity. Our RTC provides an excellent pathway to our women's 1st team with our Reserve(Development) Team, who are mainly U20's, as the next stepping stone for 16 year olds moving up from our RTC.
Charlton Athletic have a long hIstory of producing talented footballers with current 1st team players such as Kim Dixson (Captain), Kit Graham, Charley Clifford and Grace Coombs progressing from our youth team set up.
Our Regional Talent Club provides elite level matches and training for girls aged 8 through to 16 years. The girls train twice a week at Charlton Athletics Training Ground in New Eltham on the brand new FIFA approved 3G pitches & in the clubs gym under the guidance of fully qualified UEFA coaches. Our coaches are supported by a team of Sports Scientists and physiotherapists.
All members of staff who work for us hold a current FA DBS certificate plus FA Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications.
Training and match day kit is provided and next season the RTC is part of Charlton Athletics deal with kit suppliers hummel.
Our U16 & U14 Teams play in the FA RTC Tier 2/3 League on Saturdays and also play friendlies against RTC Tier 1 clubs, boys teams and foreign girls teams. Our U16s also playing in the FA Girls Youth Cup.
Our U12 & U10 teams play in the Tandridge Youth League against boys teams on Sundays. We also play friendlies against other RTC teams.
Players must be prepared to commit to 2 days training a week and U16 & U14 players to travel to matches within 2 hours of our club base in New Eltham. U12 & U10 matches are more local.
Our RTC Trials
We are looking for talented highly driven players who are willing to listen and learn with ambitions to play at the highest level. We are particularly keen to hear from girls who have played in boys teams.
Any places offered at our RTC are dependant on Charlton Athletic renewing their FA Girls RTC licence for the new 2017-2018 season.

Under 10s - Players born from 1st September 2007 to 31st August 2009
Under 12s - Players born from 1st September 2005 to 31st August 2007
