Kit Graham has had a big couple of weeks since turning 16 earlier this month.

The attacker was named PHSC plc under 17 Player of the Month, scored twice on her reserve team debut and made her first team bow last weekend against Leeds.

Not only did she make her first senior aprearance for the second string against Watford, she grabbed a brace and helped the Charlton Women’s team to a 4-1 victory.

Speaking after that game, she said: “It is a big step up but I got the start. I wasn’t really expecting it, but it was good. The play is different from the under 17s and training is harder but it is better for me.

“I was a bit nervous at the beginning and I think that showed with my touch and my passing but during the game I got more and more confident - scoring the goal helped.

“I think the team played well and Ellie [Stenning] took her goals really well so it was a good game for us. I think everyone is more confident that we can move up the table after that.”

On the under 17s, she said: “We have played a few games in the Female Development Programme and are unbeaten so far, like we were last season. There are only a few of those players left but I think we have been doing alright and are doing well.”
