The Addicks host league leaders Leicester City on Sunday, December 13th (2pm) as Charlton look to get off the foot of the table.

Leicester went top of the table in the last round of fixtures, cruising to a 3-0 home win against 10th placed London Bees, who are just one point ahead of the Addicks.

The Foxes have lost just one game this season, a 4-1 defeat away to London City Lionesses in November.

A win for Charlton could get them out of the relegation spot and as high up as eighth in the table, with up to two games in hand around surrounding teams.

Manager Riteesh Mishra knows it will be a tough outing against the Foxes, but believes the Addicks have what it takes to get all three points.

“They’re top of the league, heavily invested and resourced and favourites to get promoted, so we know it will be tough. But we are capable of winning the game.

“We’ve been performing well for large periods of matches this season but not capitalising. We know that to win requires the maximum from everyone in every moment of the game, and the players have the belief to go and deliver.”

The game kicks off at 2pm on Sunday and live match updates will be provided via our Twitter.
