The Addicks travel to the West Midlands to play league toppers Aston Villa on Sunday

The hosts could not be on a better run of form in the league, having won five from five and remain unbeaten so far this season.

Villa also begin the weekend three points ahead of second-placed Sheffield united with a game in hand.

Villa and Charlton have a 28 point gap between them going into this game and with Charlton having still not won a game all season, it will prove to be a difficult contest.

The Addicks  have a lot to play for, with games in hand over teams around them in the table. A win on Sunday could take Charlton up to eighth in the league.

The Villains won 4-0  in the reverse fixture earlier this season, and the Addicks will be hoping for some revenge at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground on Sunday 2nd February.
