Lois Heuchan’s headed goal in the 76th minute looked to have sealed victory for the Addicks against joint-top of the table Durham, but a 96th minute equaliser saw the spoils shared in the North East. “It was a draw at the end of the day, it’s a bit gutting to lose that last-minute goal.
“I feel like we should have got three points but we definitely all as a team showed fight, I think if we can just take that into the coming weeks hopefully we can get more than a point.
“Everyone showed up, we showed so much passion, we fought for each other. The fight that we showed together was just unbelievable.”
The Addicks face London City Lionesses next on Sunday, November 15th and Heuchan believes that the Addicks can take the positives from the Durham draw into the next few fixtures.
“If we can take the positives from the game, and that is a huge positive, that’s without a doubt something that we’ll take forward into the coming weeks.
