It's another Treble for the club as our U13/15s/16s won the ESF Butlins Skegness Tournament at the weekend . . .what a season this is turning out to be!!
We returned to Skegness for the second year running, this time entering six teams at U10/12/13/15/16 level. The conditions this year were a lot more blustery than last !!

Our U10s squad - Abbi, Lacey, Sufiya, Alyssia, Connie, Kadie, Kerri-Anne, Kadie & Nina - playing in their first ever tournament were in a group with U10 & U11 teams. They beat two U11 teams and 1 U10 team and drew with another U11 team. Their best win was 3-0 against Louth U11s with Abbi scoring a hat-trick. The team finished 3rd in the league and runners-up in the U10 section.

Our U12s squad - Saskia, Lucy, Emma, Tegan, Millie, Zoe, Mia, MK, Courtney & Evie - won 3 and lost 2 of their games finishing 3rd in their group. They won their first 2 games before losing their 3rd to a soft goal having dominated the game. A big win Sunday morning put them back on track but they had to win their final game to take the title. In a great evenly contested game they unfortunately lost 1-0 to Boldon who took the title.

Our U13s squad - Eleanor, Megan S, Grace L, Rachel, Megan W, Faith, Megan H, Grace F, Tayla & Elizabeth - won theit first 2 games before drawing against Cleveland. It was neck and neck with Cleveland on goal difference as we won our next two games. A crushing 11-0 win over the bottom team then put us in control and the girls clinched the title by winning the last game. This Title win completes a memorable Quadruple for the U13s who have already won the Capital Girls League & Cup plus the London Capital Cup.

We fielded two U15s teams - Robins and Addicks - who played in an U16/15 group which also included our U16s. All 3 of our teams won their first two games. The Robins - Jordan, Lillie-Mae, Grace, Emily, Livi, Baileigh, Katy & Jessie - picked up a few injuries and lost a couple of games. As the league unfolded there were three Charlton v Charlton games with U16s beating both our U15 teams who made them battle all the way for the points. In the all U15 battle the Addicks - Gemma, Tia, Rebecca, Lou, Bea, Aaliyah, Amy, Leah & Chloe - were narrow 1-0 winners.
The U16s - Ellie, Ella, Maddie, Beth, Hannah, Lucy, Lauren & Kirstie - won all 7 games winning the title and the U15 Addicks were league runners-up and U15 winners with just one defeat.
Great credit to U15 Robins who played the last game with 5 players to get a 0-0 draw and clinch the U15 runners-up spot.

All the players were presented with trophies by England International Sue Smith and Liverpool legend Ian Rush. Congratulations to U16 player Ella who was presented with the golden ball for the Girls U16 age group for her two long range goals in one game.

A great weekend was had by all - players, parents and familes - Big Thank You to ESF for putting on such a great tournament

The 3 winning teams - U13s, U15 Addicks - and U16s plus U15 Robins and U10s, as runners-up, now go through to the ESF Festival Finale to compete against the Champions from the other ESF Festivals. The finals take place at University of Warwick Football Centre on Sunday 5th July
