Having beaten Tottenham earlier this season the Under 17's looked to complete a second success over the North Londoners in a friendly at Coldharbour Leisure Centre on Saturday.
Charlton started strongly moving the ball around the pitch well and creating plenty of chances to open the scoring. The first goal duly arrived after 27 minutes as Jade Keogh, playing her first match after injury, fired home a superb 20 yard effort with some aplomb.
Tottenham responded with a couple of chances going begging. This served as a wake-up call for the Addicks who again began creating chances in the final third only to be thwarted by the Tottenham goalkeeper.
The second half was more open with both sides coming close before a brilliant through ball from Emily Symonds was convert by Jade for her second goal of the game.
Charlton thoroughly deserved this win having controlled the majority of the game and still remain unbeaten.
Team:- Abby Carey (Helena Scullion), Emily Symonds, Chloe Pettitt, Morgan Mitchell, Holly Learmouth, Shakira Day, Kit Graham, Kylie Manktelow, Alex Baker, Issy Hunter, Jade Keogh.

A long trip to Northampton on Saturday morning with only 10 players the girls had to work hard.
It was the first time the girls played 2 x 40 minutes, it was still 0-0 after 20 minutes when Benny hurt her knee, so we went down to 9 players . Northampton agreed to play with 10 so the rest of the game was 10v9.
Charlton got to half time at 0-0 but had chances to take the lead with some great passing and Billie at the heart of defence kept Northampton at bay.
Charlton started off the second half very brightly having good chances after some great passing. Beth scored to make it 1-0 to Charlton when a shot/ cross went over the keeper and found the back of the net. Charlton sealed the win with Beth converting a 1v1 chance to make it 2-0.
The girls attitude was unbelievable for the whole 80 minutes and they worked so hard and their coach Kim was very proud of them, it was a great team performance.
