After a disappointing start to the 2018/19 season last weekend, the Addicks are hoping to bounce back, and Hannah Churchill has high expectations for the clash, which kick off at 2pm.

“We’ve done a lot of preparation for this game,” the midfielder said, “it’ll be good to get back into our stride. We’ve put a lot of hard work in this week and everyone’s looking sharp.

“It’s always good to start with a local derby like Millwall, it definitely opens the season the right way and makes our first competitive game at the new ground exciting for all of us.

“They’ve got a lot of young players, so they’re going to be quite energetic. It will be a good game for us because it will really test our fitness levels and where we’re at as a group against a really good level of opposition.”

After being named the Manager’s Player of the Year last campaign, Churchill has been raring to get the season up and running again, adding: “It’s exciting to see the potential that we have as a team, we’ve come a long way but we’ve also got a long way to go, too.”

Tickets, which will be available on the gate, are priced at £6 for adults and £2 for concessions.
Full address of the ground is The Oakwood (VCD Athletic), Old Road, Crayford, Kent DA1 4DN
There will also be a new high quality programme for sale at £2

Supporters will also be able to purchase season tickets for the FA Women’s Championship season, which gets underway on Wednesday, September 19 with a home match against Aston Villa. Season tickets cost £40 for adults and £15 for concessions.
