The Charlton women’s team will host West Ham United Ladies at Sporting Club Thamesmead in their first game of the 2013/14 FA Women’s Premier League season on Sunday 25 August (2pm kick off).
The two sides last met in May at The Valley, when they played an end-of-season friendly with the Addicks coming out on top thanks to a late Gemma Shepherd strike.

The two subsequent weeks sees the girls travel to Lewes (1/9) and Tottenham Hotspur (8/9),
before we host Gillingham on 15 September.

The FA Women’s Premier League Cup is due to commence on 22 September and the fixtures will be released later this week. The County Cups will start on 20 October.

Charlton’s final game of 2013, before the Christmas break, sees Brighton and Hove Albion visit Thamesmead (22/12), with the opener in 2014 being the return fixture with West Ham (5/1)

Our penultimate game of the season will be the final home match, with Coventry the visitors (6/4), and the campaign ends away to Brighton (20/4).

The season opener against West Ham is expected to be keenly fought, with no fewer than six former Hammers in Charlton’s squad including current player of the year Shepherd, who joined last summer.

Others include new signings Clare Rogers and Sam Pittuck, goalkeeper Kelly Cooper, midfielder Francesca Tye and forward Emma Harrison.

NB: All fixtures are subject to postponements due to weather and other factors.
