The Addicks embark upon their second season back in the National Division and will be hoping to gain a measure of revenge on the Sky Blues after failing to pick up points against them last season.

The League Cup has been restored to start at the beginning of the season this term and the group stage games take place on September 2 and 23, October 14 and November 4 and 25. The draw is yet to take place. The Addicks’ first involvement in the FA Cup should take place on February3.
The third game of the season sees yet another trip to the Midlands scheduled against Aston Villa on September 9.
Last season’s runners up Leeds United follow the week after at home before another home game against the other newly promoted side, Portsmouth.
Meanwhile, the reserves start their season at home to Colchester United on September 2 before travelling to Super League side Chelsea then hosting fellow WSL teams Bristol Academy and Arsenal in successive weeks.
Their League Cup third round is on September 30 with the season ending at home to West Ham United on December 16.
The full list of League fixtures for both teams are now on the website. The spare weeks before Christmas will be filled by League Cup matches with the draw to me made shortly.
