The Charlton women’s team will start the 2014/15 FA Women’s Premier League (FAWPL) South season with a trip to the West Country, travelling to face Keynsham Town on Sunday 24 August.
That will be followed the week after with the first home game of the season in the qualifying round of the FAWPL Cup against Swindon Town at Sporting Club Thamesmead (SCT) on Sunday 31 August (2pm)
Their opening league game at SCT will be a midweek clash against last season’s beaten Capital Cup finalists Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday 3 September.
The Addicks were victors back in March at Imber Court, coming back from 1-0 down at half time to defeat the Rs 2-1 and retain the trophy thanks to goals from Sam Pittuck and Kit Graham.
QPR went on to win promotion to the FAWPL South and are joined by fellow newly promoted sides Copsewood, who Charlton are due to host on 4 January, and Plymouth Argyle (5 April).
Other key dates will be local derby matches at home to Gillingham on 26 October, with the away leg on 7 December, and West Ham (14 Dec home, 1 Mar away).
