Gemma Shepherd hit four goals & Avilla Bergin a brace as Charlton Women comfortably secured their place in the Capital Senior Women`s Cup final
With Katie Bottom cup-tied and Ruby Southgate unavailable coach Riteesh Mishra brought Gemma Shepherd & Stef Simmons into the starting XI to get some valuable match time after their recent long term injuries.

The Addicks got off to a great start as Charley Clifford fired home low into the bottom corner from 10 yards after 5 minutes.

Three minutes later Avilla Bergin added a second as her corner curled directly into the top far corner of the goal.

With half an hour gone Actonians latched on to a poor pass forcing Charlton keeper Alex Baker to parry a powerful shot and Melissa Jung was on hand to fire home from close range to put the visitors back in the tie.

Five minutes later Charlton restored their lead with a superb goal from Kit Graham who beat a defender and took the ball round keeper Paige Hornsell before slotting the ball into an empty net.

With 37 minutes gone the Addicks added a fourth when Gemma Shepherd headed home a Bergin corner.

Just before half-time Bergin went close as she cut into the area only ro be foiled by a fine save from keeper Hornsell.

Charlton were quick off the mark after the break as on 50 minutes a powerful shot on the turn from Shepherd flew into the top corner for her second of the game.

After 57 minutes Shepherd completed her hat-trick following a neat one-two with full-back Katie Flack

On the hour mark Shepherd claimed her fourth from close range following a powerful strike from Charlotte Lee.

The Addicks eighth of the game came with 20 minutes left as Graham fed the ball through to Bergin to fire into the far corner for her second of the game.

Goalkeeper Hornsell capped a fine performance with another fine save late in the game, tipping Graham`s powerful long range strike round the post.
