Charlton won the Capital Girls U16 Cup in style on Sunday morning at the Met. Police FC ground in Molesey.
After the teams had settled playing on the big Imber Court pitch Charlton took an early lead as Lauren Parsons ran down the right flank, cut in and fired over the keeper from the edge of the area.
Ten minutes later Player of the Match Parsons netted an almost identical goal as she lobbed the keeper from just outside the area for her and Charlton`s second goal.
Shortly after Hannah Nebbitt, who had just come on as substitute, scored with her first touch as she curled home a corner to make the half-time score 3-0.
The 1st minute of the second half saw Chloe Stewart-Wilkin add the Addicks fourth goal.
Parsons was fouled just outside the penalty area and Nebbitt stepped up to fire home the free-kick for her second of the game.
Stewart-Wilkin passed to Nebbitt who beat a player before completing a superb hat-trick.
Centre-back and skipper Ellie Jeffkins got in on the act curling a free-kick round the wall and into the top left corner of the goal for Charlton`s seventh.
Lucy Kerr completed a great performance from the young Addicks when she ran through the Enfield defence and slotted the ball past the onrushing keeper into the bottom right corner for goal number eight.
Congratulations to the team, coach Riteesh Mishra and of course coach Kim Dixson who had to follow her teams progress on Twitter whilst on the 1st team coach travelling to their game in Plymouth!
