The Addicks won two matches & lost one in the Female Development Programme as Coventry City visited Coldharbour on Saturday
Charlton U17`s 6 Coventry U17`s 1
It was an all round good performance from Charlton’s under17’s this weekend. The team started slowly and Coventry worked really hard shutting down Charlton and stopping playing their flowing football that had done in previous weeks.
At half time the score was all level at 0-0. But straight after the break Charlton opened the scoring with a long distance volley from Kylie manketolw.
Coventry pounced on an error by Charlton’s defence and equalised. After the restart Charlton then started to play good free flowing football which culminated in Charlton taking the lead shortly afterwards. From then on Charlton never looked backed and went on to score four more goals.
