The Addicks hit Actonians for six to set up a home semi-final clash with Tottenham in the Capital Cup
In rainy conditions on a heavy muddy pitch the Addicks took a little time to settle and suffered a blow after 15 minutes when midfielder Charley Clifford was forced off with a rib injury.

Shortly after, Actonians created their best chance of the game when Carla Williams connected with a Chelsea Berlin free-kick to force Megen Lynch into a diving save, tipping the ball round the post. From the resulting corner Kit Graham headed clear.

Charlton then began to take a hold of the game and Emma Harrison outpaced her marker to send over a cross which Katie Hardaker met at the far post only to see her effort clip the crossbar.

On 24 minutes the Addicks opened the scoring as Harrison fed the ball into Graham who rifled a low shot into the bottom corner of the goal from the edge of the area.

Five minutes later Harrison, whose pace was causing the home side plenty of problems, was brought down in the area. Left-back Stef Simmons stepped up to take the spot-kick but sent the ball over the bar, grazing the woodwork on the way.

Harrison then went on to force Actonians keeper Robin Tillyer to make two smothering saves before substitute Harley Bennett fired a powerful 30 yard effort into the keeper`s midriff.

A superb through ball from Graham then sent Jenny Newman clear but the skipper pulled her shot wide of the target with only the keeper to beat.

Just before the break Simmons sent over a cross which Katie Hardaker headed over the bar.

The Addicks started the second half with more purpose and a powerful run from Bennett culminated in the midfielder shooting wide.

On 50 minutes a right-wing cross from Newman was funbled by the keeper and Sam Pittuck was on hand to stab the ball home from close range.

Five minutes later Charlton added a third when the keeper`s punched clearance was met by Bennett on the edge of the area to send a powerful shot into the back of the net.

On the hour, great team play was rewarded with another long range strike from Bennett.

After 62 minutes, 16-year-old striker Megan Carroll came on to make her 1st team debut, replacing Newman.

A minute later Bennett completed her eight minute hat-trick with a volley that went just inside the post.

The final goal of the match came in the 86th minute and was fittingly scored by PHSC Player of the Match Kit Graham, her thunderous drive from the edge of the area leaving the keeper with no chance.

Charlton: Lynch, Houlihan, Paye (Kylie Manktelow 70mins), Pittuck, Simmons, Harrison, Clifford (Bennett 15mins) Graham, Hardaker, Newman (Carroll 62mins), Ibrahim.
