A hat-trick from Kit Graham plus goals from Katie Flack and Kris Manktelow saw the Reserves comfortably beat the Seagulls on Sunday
Manager Bill Long took a squad that included nine U17 players to the south coast for the Reserves penultimate league fixture of the season. With the team`s league status secure, it was an ideal opportunity to give some of the club`s promising youngsters the experience of playing senior football.

As the Addicks took time to settle in the blustery conditions it was the Seagulls who opened the scoring with an early goal.

After 33 minutes the Addicks drew level through a rare Katie Flack goal, the left-back`s cross catching on the wind to sail into the top corner of the goal.

A minute later Charlton took the lead with a long range strike from Kit Graham.

Shortly before half-time Graham added her second with a header from just inside the area which went over the keeper`s head.

During the second half, Manager Long brought on substitutes Kylie Manktelow, Gemma Hyland and Megan Mulholland, the latter two making their senior debuts.

A lively finish saw the Addicks add two late goals. On 89 minutes Graham completed her first senior hat-trick before Kris Manktelow curled a free-kick into the top cormer of the goal in injury time to seal an impressive victory.

Team: Baker, Singyard, Flack, Yennaris, Chandler, Long, Duffy (Kylie Manktelow 60), Kris Manktelow, Graham, Keogh (Hyland 65), Gibson (Mulholland 70)
