The Charlton women`s team cruised into the 3rd round of the SSE Women`s FA Cup at Sporting Club Thamesmead on Sunday with a comfortable win over west London rivals QPR.
Charlotte Gurr netted a hat-trick for a second week running with skipper Kim Dixson and an own goal completing the scoreline.
The Addicks registered their intent early on as a 25 yard effort from midfielder Charley Clifford flew narrowly wide of the Rangers goal.
Shortly after a low cross from Charlotte Gurr flashed across the face of the goal with no Addicks able to apply the finishing touch at the far post.
A rare counter attack from the visitors saw them win a free-kick from which Hogan forced Charlton custodian Alex Baker to tip the ball over the crossbar.
The break through for the Addicks finally came four minutes before half-time as a Kit Graham header was diverted past her own keeper by a Rangers defender.
On the stroke of half-time Charlton doubled their lead through Charlotte Gurr who fired a free-kick from just outside the area into the bottom corner of the goal.
Rangers keeper Kasirye was called into action early in the second half tipping a long range strike from Kit Graham onto the crossbar.
On 52 minutes the Addicks were awarded a penalty as a defender handled a Charlotte Lee effort. gurr stepped up to calmly slot home the spot kick.
After 67 minutes Gurr completed her hat-trick after superbly controlling a pass from Charley Clifford and firing home.
Four minutes later skipper Kim Dixson added a fifth after some excellent one touch football in the area.
