A close fought game at Coldharbour on Sunday saw the Development Team pick up 3 valuable points to take them up to third in the league
Charlton started brightly opening the scoring after about a quarter of an hour when Channin Smith fired home a low effort from just outside the area.

Thanet levelled the score after half an hour from a corner.

Just before half-time the visitors who took the lead and again it was a corner that was the Addicks undoing.

After the break Charlton came out and played with much more purpose and were rewarded after a hour when a free-kick from skipper Vicky De Waal hit the post and was parried by the keeper leaving Kelsey Smith to fire home the lose ball for the equaliser.

With about 20 minutes to go Ruby Snowden, making her comeback after an ankle injury, put the Addicks ahead with a long range effort.

Team: Hawkins, Collins, Baxter, Cowcher, Lovell, Brown, De Waal, Snowden, K.Smith, Kerr, C.Smith
