Goals from Hatie Hardaker, Ellie Searle & Issy Hunter saw the Addicks win their final league game of the season
The Reds travelled north to take on Tottenham Ladies Reserves in their last league fixture of the season, looking for a good response and strong finish to the campaign after suffering their only defeat the week previous against Brighton.

Charlton started the match brightly and were enjoying the lions share of possession but failed to create any clear cut chances. The best coming from set plays as Olivia Cole failed to divert a Clare Rogers corner goal wards.

However the deadlock was broken after 37minute through a blistering counter attack which saw Georgia Richards intercept the ball and link with defensive parter Ruby Southgate who then played the ball to Francesca Tye who was lurking in the centre of the pitch. Fran then played a neat one-two with Ellie Searle whilst overlapping the winger then switched the play to an on rushing Katie Hardaker on the opposite flank. Katie needed one touch to control and a second to launch a sumptuous left footed lob over the hapless Spurs keeper.
The second half saw a spirited comeback spark into life as the hosts through some neat interplay breached the back line and the striker finishing cooly to level the scores.

A resurgent Tottenham continued to push for that decisive goal forcing the Addicks into making a number of hurried clearances and forcing the odd save from keeper Alex Baker.
Just before the hour mark coach Warren Clarke sent on substitutes Izzy Hunter and Top Goalscorer Beth Rodger. The changes paid dividends on the 63 minute as the dynamic Tye burst through the midfield threading a lovely through ball to left winger Searle who`s first touch ripped past the Spurs defence inside the box and fired the ball low to the keepers right restoring the lead.

Two minutes later rampant winger Ellie who was causing the Spurs team problems all afternoon was again involved in the action as she broke through the opposition lines cutting the ball back to substitute Rodger who controlled and produced a swivelled shot on the spot hitting the upright.

Charlton had to wait five minutes to extend their lead as another delightful delivery from captain Clare Rogers was met by Cole at the far post displaying sublime ball control to juggle then find Hunter who unleashed an unstoppable thunderbolt from just inside the box (80 min).

Victoria Chincharo made a cameo appearance replacing Cole on the 88th minute and looked like she may have scored as she tried to latch on to a through ball from Rogers however that was not meant to be as Charlton ran out 3-1 winners.

"It was a strong finish to the league and we now start working towards the cup final as we`d like to finish the season with some silverware" said manager Warren Clarke
