Second half goals from Jenny Newman & Kit Graham saw the Addicks to a deserved but hard earned win against QPR
The match kicked-off 15 minutes late due to the visitors late arrival and both teams were slow to get going in an uneventful first quarter of the match.

It was Rangers who created the first worthwhile chance as striker Alexandra Nord broke theough the Addicks defence to fire a low effort narrowly past the far post.

Charlton hit back and Charley Clifford`s powerful 30 yard strike was tipped round the post by keeper Callie Neat.

Nord broke through again, looking suspiciously off-side, and tried to chip the ball over keeper Baker who tipped her effort past the upright.

Avilla Bergin broke clear and outpaced her marker only to see keeper Neat save her goalbound strike with her feet.

Charlton piled on the pressure before the break with a powerful 30 yard Kit Graham free-kick forcing Neat into another fine save.

Charley Clifford thought she had opened the scoring shortly before the break but her goalbound header was punched over the bar by Neat.

Charlton started the second half strongly claiming a Lions share of the possession. A great cross from Player of the Match Ruby Southgate was glanced narrowly wide by Giorgia Dunne.

The Addicks then forced a succession of corners and their pressure finally paid off in 61st minute as Avilla Bergin whipped in a low cross that Jenny Newman converted from close range.

Kit Graham then broke clear but was foiled by Neat who conceded a corner. From the resulting flag kick the Charlton striker saw her header rebound off the inside of the post.

Charlton pressed for a second goal and a powerful strike from Graham cannoned off the crossbar but Bergin could only send the rebound inches past the post.

QPR broke clear in search of an equaliser and Charlton custodian Alex Baker claimed a corner well under pressure.

Into injury time Charlton get the goal their dominance deserved as Graham headed home Bergins corner.
