Four goals from Sam Pittuck and a Jenny Newman hat-trick saw the Addicks sting the Bees Development team at The Hive on Sunday
On the superb playing surface at The Hive the opening play was fairly even as both sides settled into the game.

However the Addicks soon got into their stride and Sam Pittuck saw her lob beat the keeper but hit the side netting.

A great through ball from full-back Ruby Southgate, making her 1st team debut, was chased by Jenny Newman who saw her lob beat the keeper & the crossbar.

Kit Graham then sent Sam Pittuck clear but the striker shot straight at the keeper.

On 21 minutes the Addicks opened the scoring when Jenny Newman chased a superb through ball from Stef Simmons and although the keeper blocked the shot it rebounded to Olivia Cole to pass the ball into the empty net  a goal on her 1st team debut.

With 28 minutes on the clock Jenny Newman headed home Ruby Southgates cross for goal number two

Five minutes later great play between Kit Graham and Sam Pittuck set up Jenny Newman for a third goal.

After 36 minutes Olivia Cole was brought crashing down in the box and Sam Pittuck cooly slotted home the resulting penalty for a 4-0 half-time lead.

A minute into the second half saw Kit Graham turn sweetly in the area and fired home from 15 yards.

On 52 minutes a right wing cross from Sam Pittuck was met first time by Charley Clifford for her first goal in 18 months after injury.

Just after the hour a thunderous 30 yard strike from Jenny Newman crashed off the crossbar and Pittuck was on hand to bundle the ball home.

After 74 minutes Charley Clifford claimed her second with a dipping long range strike that went in off the post.

On 86 minutes a well measured through ball was chased by Sam Pittuck who clipped the ball over a defender before lobbing the keeper for her hat-trick.

A minute later a great reverse ball from Jenny Newman set up Sam Pittuck who slooted home her fourth.

The final minute saw Jenny Newman claim the hat-trick her hard work deserved as Pittuck turned provider for the Addicks 11th goal.

Overall it was great team performance against a promising young Women`s Super League Development Team.

Charlton Team: Lynch, Southgate, Simmons, Paye, Butler, Dixson, Tye, Graham, Cole (Clifford) Pittuck, Newman.
