Our U13s progress to the quarter-finals of the Capital Cup after a pulsating nineteen goal thriller with Ruislip
This amazing match went to extra-time and left coaches and supporters chewing their fingersnails till the final whistle.

It was Ruislip who opened the scoring through their impressive number 10 but Charlton soon equalised through Player of the Match Kaylie.

Charlton then took the upper hand with two great strikes from Jodie.

Impressive defending from Patsy, Megan W and Esme and some good saves from Eleanor kept Ruislip at bay for a while but they eventually hit back to level the scores.

Charlton then took the lead three more times through Kaylie twice and Grace F and each time Ruislip fought back to level the score netting their 6th goal in the last minute of the game with a header.

With the score at 6-6 the game went into extra-time with Charlton twice taking the lead again through Kaylie and Grace L but Ruislip hit back twice. Charlton had their chances to add to their goals but save two efforts crash off the woodwork whilst the Ruislip keeper made several great saves.

As legs began to tire in the last period of extra-time Charlton added further goals from Kaylie and Megan H and although Ruislip pulled one goal back they just could not do it again and Charlton progress through to the quarter-finals.

Charlton U16s
Old Actonians could not field a team for the Capital U16 Cup tie so we progress through to the quarter-finals.
