Charlton Athletic Women's FC announces the transfer of their Northern Ireland international forward Avilla Bergin to Lewes FC Women for an undisclosed fee.

Bergin joined Charlton at the start of 2016-17 season and featured 33 times for the Addicks, scoring 10 goals.

The player had one year left on her contract but had the opportunity to move to Sussex to continue her studies at University.

Charlton Athletic Women's FC would like to thank our friends at Lewes FC Women for the professional way that the transfer process was conducted throughout, and to wish Avilla every success in her future career.
