The third club the Addicks will face in their forthcoming season in the Championship will be Coventry United Ladies. Below is key information for supporters to know about the newly promoted club before this season begins.
The club was founded in 1991 and in 1997 they went to the Women's Northern Division until they were relegated in 2002. After a few years going in and out of the Northern Division they merged with Coventry United in 2015 and moved into their current home, Butts Park Arena.
The Cov's manager is Jay Bradford who first joined the club in 2016. She had a great season last year picking up the FA National League Manager of the month for October after an unbeaten run. Previously she has worked in youth football including with the New York Red Bulls.
The club play their matches in Butts Park Arena in Spon End, Coventry. The stadium has a capacity of 4,000.
Where did they finish last year?
The club played their matches in the National League South last season and finished top of the league. They finished seven points clear of second place Cardiff City and only lost one game all season.
How did the Addicks fare against them last time?
The Addicks last played Coventry United in April 2018 and November 2017. Charlton Athletic Women won both matches 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.
